Dance movement therapy (DMT) is defined by the American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA) as the psychotherapeutic use of movement to promote emotional, social, cognitive, and physical integration of the individual, for the purpose of improving health and well-being. In the light of offering a sphere of alternative therapy, DMT serves a holistic approach to mental health weaving physical, cognitive, emotional and social development together. It offers an alternative therapeutic path especially beneficial for those with a background in MA Music, MA Dance, or MA Drama, and aligns well with those pursuing a hybrid course in arts.
The therapy circle considers that no individual therapy is complete and shall be accompanied by one or more relative therapies. Collectively, Dance Movement Therapy addresses the integration of Body, Mind and Soul believing that the aspiration of human life is unison of three.
Processing Fees will be deducted from the amount payable to you in case of cancellation.
Candidates must provide all the necessary documents in absence of which will not confirm the admission & the academy will not be responsible for the same. Confirmation of admission will be subject to approval from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).

The MA-EMT Degree will give you the scope to integrate DMT in your existing Dance training or Counselling practice. Additionally, you can also establish your independent DMT set-up.

Select Department wise
° Select Name of Department as :Department of physical education
° Select Course name as M.A. Expressive Movement Therapy
5. Step 5: Apply for the course.
6. Apply: Passing Standards. The selected course is M.A. Expressive Movement Therapy
7. Fill out the Fee Structure & pay the registration fees.
8. Application is submitted.
