The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) programme at Sancheti Institute of Nursing Education (SINE), part of Sancheti Healthcare Academy (SHA), prepares students to provide safe, compassionate and evidence-informed nursing care.
The programme commenced on 3 October 2023. SINE is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, and is recognised by the Maharashtra Nursing Council (MNC). The programme combines classroom learning, laboratory practice and supervised clinical experience to help students develop nursing knowledge, practical skills and professional confidence.

What You Will Learn
The programme develops theoretical knowledge, clinical judgement, communication and hands-on nursing skills. Students learn to provide care across age groups and healthcare settings, from fundamental nursing procedures to more advanced clinical skills. Teaching follows the applicable INC & MUHS curriculum across eight semesters.
Learning combines classroom teaching, demonstrations, supervised practice in nursing laboratories and clinical postings in affiliated healthcare facilities. Students also have access to library resources, digital learning facilities.
Hands-On Hospital Training
Nursing is learned at the patient’s bedside as well as in the classroom. Students gain supervised clinical exposure at the parent hospital and affiliated hospitals in Pune, subject to the clinical posting schedule.
Transport is provided for students for visits to affiliated hospitals, as per institutional arrangements.
Students practise nursing procedures in a supervised learning environment before performing them in clinical settings:
Graduates may pursue registration and employment in eligible nursing roles, subject to completion of the programme and applicable registration requirements.
Other healthcare organizations. Graduates may also pursue higher studies and professional development in nursing and healthcare.
